On This Day In Baseball History: March 28, 1970

Major League Baseball Commissioner Bowie Kuhn announces that the fan voting will once again determine the starting 8 position players of the All-Star game. The 1970 All-Star game took place at Riverfront Stadium. It was the All-Star game where Pete Rose ran over Ray Fosse causing Fosse to drop the ball and crediting Rose for the game winning run.
