Kirby Puckett

Minnesota Twins center fielder Kirby Puckett hits five singles and a triple in front of his home fans at the Metrodome as the Twins beat the Rangers 10-6. This is the second time Puckett has collected six hits in a game making him the fourth player in history to get six hits twice joining Doc Cramer (1932 & 1935), Jim Bottomley (1924 & 1931), and Cal McVey (1876). Puckett finished the season with 195 hits and a .319 batting average.
