Johnny Damon

 

New York Yankee outfielder Johnny Damon goes 6-6 in a 12-11 come from behind victory over his former club, the Royals. Damon becomes the first Yankee to collect six hits at Yankee Stadium and only the second player in history, joining Omar Vizquel who went 6-7 in August of 2004.
