On This Day In Baseball History: June 10, 2006

Kansas City Royals outfielder Reggie Sanders hits his 300th career home run making him only the fifth player in history to have both 300 homers and 300 stolen bases. He joined Bobby Bonds, Willie Mays, Barry Bonds, and Andre Dawson. The 300/300 club would later welcome Alex Rodriguez, Steve Finley, and Carlos Beltran. Sanders played for eight teams during his 17-year career. He made the 1995 NL All-Star team as a member of the Reds and finished 1995 sixth in MVP voting.
