New York Yankees third baseman Alex Rodriguez ties Lou Gehrig‘s 74 year-old record when he hits his 23rd career grand slam at Turner Field. 17 months later A-Rod will break the tie by blasting his 24th grand slam at Yankee Stadium against the Giants. Rodriguez’s record appears to be safe for now as Ryan Howard has the most grand slams among active players with 13.
