Ivan Rodriguez

 

Astros catcher Ivan Rodriguez catches his 2,227 career game passing Carlton Fisk for the most games caught in a career. Rodriguez would go on to catch exactly 200 more games before calling it a career. Rodriguez was a 14-time All-Star, won 13 Gold Gloves (including 10 consecutive 1992-2001), was a 7-time Silver Slugger winner, and was the 1997 AL MVP. He is one of the best catchers in history having scored the most runs (1,354), hits (2,844), doubles (572), seventh most home runs (311), fifth most rbi (1332), third most stolen bases (127), and  12th most batting average (.296).
