Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Ryan Braun, playing in his 200th career game hits his 56th career homer. Only Mark McGwire and Rudy York hit more in their first 200 games, both hit 59. Braun would go on to make the NL All-Star team, win the first of five consecutive Silver Slugger awards, and finish 3rd in the NL MVP voting.
