Mike Trout

Los Angeles Angels rookie phenom Mike Trout is driven in by an Albert Pujols ground rule double setting a new rookie record for scoring a run in his 14th consecutive game. This is one of several rookies records Trout will set during his inaugural campaign. Trout’s record surpasses Jake Powell (Washington Senators, 1935) and Don Lenhardt (St. Louis Browns, 1950). He also sets a new Angels record by passing Jim Edmonds who scored in 13 consecutive games for the Angels in 1995.
