Mark Buehrle

 

The Chicago White Sox 10-year veteran Mark Buehrle throws 116 pitches on his way to Major League Baseball’s 18th perfect game. The always efficient Buehrle throws 76 strikes, strikes out 6 batters, induces 11 ground balls and 10 fly outs. Gabe Kapler almost ended the bid for a perfect game in the top of the ninth but DeWayne Wise, a defensive replacement, makes a phenomenal catch  (see below).
