Matt Stairs


San Diego Padres first baseman and outfield Matt Stairs homers off of Ernesto Frieri in the 8th inning. The homer is Stairs 21st career pinch hitter homer passing Cliff Johnson for most all-time. Stairs would hit two more pinch hit homers before the end of his career extending his record to 23. His career spanned 19 years during which he played for 12 teams and collected 265 career homers.
