Washington Nationals All Time Starting Lineup

Nationals Logo

The Washington Nationals can trace their roots all the way back to 1969 as the Montreal Expos. Over the years they have been known as the Montreal Expos (1969-2004), and as we know them today the Washington Nationals (2004-Present). The organization has made 3 playoff appearances, never won a pennant or a World Series. They have retired 4 numbers. Gary Carter (8), Rusty Staub (10), Andre Dawson (10), and Tim Raines (30).

Below is a lineup of the best single seasons by position. Each player is only eligible for one season so we picked their best season.

    • DSC, it came down to those two and Zimmerman. I went with Zimmerman because I felt offensively they were equal and Zimmerman played great defense.
