Ichiro Suzuki

Seattle Mariners right fielder Ichiro Suzuki gets his 200th hit of the season on his way to an all-time single season record of 262. This is the fourth year in the league and his fourth 200 hit campaign, establishing a new record of most years to start a career with 200 hits. He will extend the record to 10 (2001-2010). That is also the record for most consecutive seasons with 200 or more hits. Ichiro established himself as the king of hits by leading the league in hits in seven of his first ten years in the league.
