Jose Bautista

Toronto Blue Jays right fielder Jose Bautista hits his 48th homer of the season at Fewway Park establishing a new Blue Jays single season record. The 29-year old Bautista would finish the 2010 season hitting a Major League leading 54 home runs despite never hitting more than 16 in any of his previous 6 seasons. Bautista’s 54 homers is seven more than George Bell 47 in 1987. Bautista would win the Silver Slugger and finish 4th in the AL MVP voting.
