Cy Young

Boston Rustlers 44-year old pitcher Cy Young wins his 511th and last career game. When he died in 1955 commissioner Ford Frick wanted to honor the late great Cy Young so he established an award to be given annually to the best pitcher in baseball. His record 511 career wins along with his record 749 complete games are thought by many to be two of the games most unbreakable records.
