On This Day In Baseball History: September 30, 2012

David Price

Tampa Bay Rays ace and eventual 2012 AL CY Young winner David Price goes seven innings to win his 20th game of the season. Price was the first, and to date still the only, Rays pitcher to collect 20 victories in one season. In fact, Price’s 19 victories in 2010 ranks second in team history. No one else in Tampa Bay history has more than 17 wins in a season.
