Jamie Moyer

 

Seattle Mariners 38-year old lefty Jamie Moyer beat the Texas Rangers 6-2 giving Moyer 20 wins on the season and making him the oldest player to win 20 games for the first time. Two years later in 2003 Moyer will win 21 games. He would go on to set several age-related records. In 2001 Moyer would finish fourth in the AL CY Young voting.
