Arizona Diamondbacks 39-year old ace Randy Johnson wins his fourth consecutive NL CY Young joining Greg Maddux as the only two pitchers in history to win four straight CY Youngs. Johnson’s 24 wins were an NL best and a career high. He also led the NL in ERA at 2.32, innings pitched with 260, strikeouts with 334 and K/9 at 11.6.
